Job summary

FedEx is seeking a senior solution architect to define and govern the long-term data and solution architecture roadmap in alignment with business priorities. You will enable scalable capabilities through robust technology and data platforms, guiding design, implementation, and operation across the full lifecycle.

The role requires deep expertise in APIs, cloud platforms, microservices, event-driven architectures, and data governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 7+ years of experience in solution architecture, enterprise architecture, data architecture, systems integration, software engineering, or related technology leadership roles.
• Extensive experience designing and integrating complex enterprise applications, data platforms, and operational systems.
• Delivered technology solutions enabling critical business capabilities and large-scale transformations.
• Strong expertise in enterprise integration, APIs, cloud platforms, microservices, event-driven architecture, and modern data architectures.
• Deep understanding of data architecture, data modeling, master data management, data governance, and data quality principles.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Thrive in fast-paced, complex, and highly integrated enterprise environments.

• Possess extensive experience designing and integrating complex enterprise applications, data platforms, and operational systems.
• Have successfully delivered technology solutions that enabled critical business capabilities and large-scale business transformation initiatives.
• Possess strong technical expertise in enterprise integration, APIs, cloud platforms, microservices, event-driven architecture, and modern data architectures.
• Have deep understanding of data architecture, data modeling, master data management, data governance, and data quality principles.
• Demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
