Job summary

C&A Sourcing Jobs Asia in Bengaluru seeks a data analyst/BI engineer to integrate ERP and supply chain data, build dbt models, and design dashboards to support strategic decisions.

You will work with stakeholders across business units, deliver operation-level insights, and help optimize lead times, capacity, and costs using PowerBI and Snowflake-based pipelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business intelligence, data analytics, statistics, engineering, or computer science.
• 3–5 years hands-on experience with advanced SQL, dbt (or equivalent), Python for data work, and a cloud warehouse- Snowflake preferred.
• Real understanding of data modelling: grain, keys, slowly-changing dimensions, incremental strategies, idempotency.
• Experience programming to extract, transform and clean large (multi-TB) data sets.
• Experience in Statistical Analysis packages such as R, SAS, or Matlab.
• Experience in scripting for automation (e.g. Python) and advanced SQL skills.
• Experience with data visualization using PowerBI, MicroStrategy, or similar tools.
• Experience working directly with business stakeholders to translate between data and business needs.
• Outstanding communication skills (verbal and written) and proven track record of an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams at all levels.
• Experience in fashion industry, supply chain, omni-channel operations.
• Strong commitment and dedication to tasks, with a willingness to take on tasks outside of the usual remit.
• Uses AI assistants fluently as part of their engineering workflow, with judgement about output quality.

Responsibilities
