Siemens in Mumbai/Pune is seeking an Analytics Engineer for Operations/Manufacturing to design data models and pipelines that empower BI across key operational domains.

You will build Snowflake and dbt transformations, optimize cloud architectures, and enable analytics for Manufacturing, SCM, and Quality teams. Strong SQL and English communication are essential for collaborating with data scientists and business partners.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Data Engineering experience focused on data modeling and pipeline development.
• Strong SQL skills to design data models and ETL/ELT workflows.
• Use Snowflake and dbt to build cloud‑based data warehouse solutions.
• Experience with manufacturing data including SAP ERP, SAP EWM, structured Engineering Data, Parts and BOMs.
• Excellent English communication and collaboration with non-technical stakeholders.

• Build Snowflake and dbt transformations that support advanced analytics and machine learning capabilities.
• Optimize cloud‑based data architectures for secure, scalable, reliable, and cost‑effective data processing.
• Streamline data development and deployment using GitHub, version control, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Enable analytics for Manufacturing/Operations, PLM/Engineering, QM, SCM, Intralogistics, Warehouse, and Supplier Quality Management.
• Implement data governance, quality, performance, compliance, and security standards from launch onward.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, business teams, and the Data Hub Team to deliver efficient data solutions.
• Improve engineering practices by staying current with Snowflake, dbt, data engineering, and analytics trends.

Use your skills to:

• Bring 5+ years of Data Engineering experience focused on data modeling and pipeline development.
• Apply strong SQL skills to design data models and ETL/ELT workflows.
• Use Snowflake and dbt to build, maintain, and optimize cloud‑based data warehouse solutions.
• Develop robust data architectures that support analytics, business intelligence, and strategic decision‑making.
