Job summary

Recro is seeking a Data & Analytics leader in Pune to shape enterprise-wide architecture spanning data platforms, analytics delivery, AI/ML, data security, and governance.

You will drive architecture roadmaps, design PoCs, and guide cross-functional teams to deliver scalable GenAI-enabled solutions across cloud environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Statistics, Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience (Master's preferred).
• Extensive hands-on experience with cloud architectures (Azure/AWS).
• Proven expertise in data platforms, analytics delivery, and data security/governance.

Responsibilities

About the Role

We're looking for a Data & Analytics leader to shape enterprise-wide architecture across data platforms, analytics delivery, AI/ML, data security, and governance. You'll work at the intersection of architectural vision and hands-on design — guiding solutions from interim-state assessments to future-state roadmaps, while integrating advanced analytics and Generative AI into real business workflows.

This is a role for someone who thinks in systems, not just tools — someone who can define the architecture and also build the proof-of-concept that proves it works.

What You'll Do

• Design enterprise data and analytics architecture — best practices, patterns, and guiding principles for new solutions
• Integrate AI/ML models (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn) into existing data workflows across cloud environments
• Lead proof-of-concept initiatives and build future-state architecture roadmaps
• Own architectural artefacts, high-level designs, and deployment support for data, analytics, and GenAI solutions
• Architect across five pillars: data platforms, analytics delivery, data security, AI, and data governance
• Partner with business and solution architecture teams to ensure technology delivers real business outcomes
• Mentor cross-functional teams and communicate technical decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

What You Bring

• Hands-on experience with Azure or AWS cloud architecture (multi-cloud is a plus)
• Strong experience with Databricks, Snowflake, or BigQuery
• Proficiency in Azure Data Factory or Informatica for data pipeline and integration
• Working knowledge of AI/ML frameworks — TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, MLflow
• Strong Python and SQL skills
• Solid grounding in data governance, security, and management principles
• A cloud architect certification (Azure Solutions Architect Expert or AWS Solutions Architect Professional) — required
• TOGAF, CDMP, or Google Professional Cloud Architect certification — a plus
• Experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, or life sciences — a plus
