Job summary

Syngene International Limited is seeking an entry-level Scientist – Analytical Development in Bengaluru. The role involves preparation of samples, routine analyses using HPLC, GC, LCMS, and maintaining lab instrumentation with a strong emphasis on safety and quality.

Ideal candidates hold an M.Sc. in Chemistry with solid knowledge of ICH, GMP/GLP guidelines and experience in analytical method development and instrumental calibration.

Qualifications

  • M.Sc. in Chemistry is mandatory.
  • Strong knowledge of chromatographic and spectroscopic analytical techniques.
  • Familiarity with ICH, GMP, GLP and global regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare samples and maintain lab cleanliness.
  • Perform routine analyses using HPLC, GC, LCMS; calibrate instruments.
  • Ensure compliance with Syngene quality standards and GDP for documents.
  • Collaborate with process development, quality, and manufacturing teams.

  • Govern and Review safety metrics from time to time.
Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation of samples.
  • Maintain cleanliness of lab and instrumentation area
  • Overall adherence to safe practices and procedures of oneself and the teams aligned
  • Compliance to Syngene’ s quality standards always
  • Routine Sample analysis using HPLC, GC, LCMS and Moisture content.
  • Calibration of analytical instruments.
  • Follow the GDP for documents
  • To perform the daily calibrations of analytical instruments and equipment, based on need basis.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in analytical workflows.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with process development, quality, and manufacturing teams.
Desired Attributes
  • Strong expertise in chromatographic (HPLC, UPLC, GC), spectroscopic (NMR, MS, UV, IR), and other analytical techniques.
  • Knowledge on ICH, GMP, GLP and global regulatory guidelines.
  • Experience supporting drug substance development from early phase to commercial manufacturing.
