Job summary

NPS Prism is seeking an Analyst, Survey Programming to join the India Hub. You will develop and debug survey instruments using Decipher, HTML/XHTML and JavaScript, while integrating Python-based automation to shorten time-to-market.

You will ensure data quality, manage sampling quotas, and deliver accurate crosstabs and reporting links, collaborating with Product Managers and clients across regions.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of working experience in survey programming
• Experience with Decipher programming platform
• Knowledge of HTML/XHTML and JavaScript, with Python a must
• Experience creating automation to speed survey time to market
• Quality testing of surveys and deliverables for client satisfaction
• Creating and managing quotas for complex market research surveys via web services/APIs
• Experience in field management, data validation, crosstabs and reporting links
• Enforcing best practices for survey programming and data quality
• Daily status updates to clients/internal stakeholders
• Managing multiple instruments across production stages

An Analyst on the Survey Programming team will work closely with the Prism India Hub Team Manager and with NPS Prism Product Managers to build and deliver a commercially successful product that spans core sectors across all regions.

This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, data-driven environment—supporting Bain’s largest proprietary SaaS venture while learning advanced market research and data operations methodologies.

Key responsibilities:

• 1. 2 – 5 years of working experience in survey programming
• 2. Must have previous experience with Decipher programming platform
• 3. Experience working on HTML/XHTML, JavaScript and an understanding of basic web and programming technologies (Knowledge of python is a must have)
• 4. Provide innovative solutions and create automation that can reduce the time to market for the survey
• 5. Quality testing of the survey and all deliverables to ensure client satisfaction, quality standards, and error-free projects
• 6. Create and manage quotas for complex market research surveys using web services and APIs that can integrate with the survey platform to drive efficiencies.
• 7. Experience in field management, data validation, creating crosstabs and reporting links and managing multiple sample partners
• 8. Create and enforce best practices related to survey programming and data quality procedures to ensure the data gathered from system has no errors or deficiencies
• 9. Send daily updates and status reports to clients or internal stakeholders for all projects to improve efficient communication and workflow
• 10. Managing multiple instruments at various stages of production, with minimal assistance from leads

Educational Qualifications Required:

• o Candidate should be a Graduate from top-tier College with strong academic records or B.Tech or Master’s in computer and related fields.
• Preferred: Concentration in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Econometrics, Business Analytics, or Market Research is strongly preferred.

Experience Required:

• o 2-5 years of in-depth experience with survey programming, survey development, and primary market research at a consulting firm, market research agency or data provider.
• o Candidate should have hands‑on experience in tasks such as field management, data validation, creating crosstabs and reporting links and managing multiple sample partners

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

• o Experience working of HTML/XHTML, JavaScript and an understanding of basic web and programming technologies
• o Must have previous experience with Survey programming platform (Decipher or equivalent)
• o Good knowledge of XML programming
• o Experience working in python is a must have
• o Exceptional technical skills, including knowledge of market research tools
• o Good interpersonal and communication skills
• o Candidates should possess excellent analytical, communication, problem solving and team player skills; ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.
