Job summary

Novartis India is seeking an Analyst - Supply Chain Management (MAP) to support the Operations (TechOps) – Supply Operations team. The role focuses on coordinating MAP requests, ensuring regulatory compliance, and delivering supplies to MAP patients across geographies.

The ideal candidate has a science/engineering or supply chain degree with 2+ years of experience in supply chain, knowledge of GxP, and strong analytical and communication abilities to manage stakeholders effectively.

Qualifications

  • Scientific/Engineering/Supply Chain degree required.
  • 2+ years experience in supply chain and knowledge of GxP regulation.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills; stakeholder management.
  • Experience in coordinating cross-functional teams and regulatory-compliant processes.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate MAP requests and ensure timely delivery to MAP patients.
  • Track MAP requests end-to-end and maintain required documentation for audits.
  • Coordinate with ESP/NTO-SC/GCS and other functions for approvals and materials.
  • Archive MAP-related documents in Novartis repositories per nomenclature.
  • Update MAP/CR trackers and plan for supply needs across projects and countries.
  • Support forecasting, demand and supply planning for Global Cohorts/PSDS.
  • Assist in inventory management and distribution through External Service Providers.

Summary

The Analyst - Supply Chain Management (MAP) supports the Novartis Operations (TechOps) – Supply Operations team in the coordination of various Supply Operations activities in compliance with GxP & regulatory requirements while creating value for our internal customers across all Novartis divisions across geographies.

About The Role
Major accountabilities
  • Processing and managing IPRs, Global Cohort / PSDS MAP requests in coordination with ESP/NTO-SC/GCS.
  • End to end tracking of MAP requests to ensure timely delivery of drug to the MAP patients.
  • Coordination with CMR for availability of all required approvals and documents pre and post shipment (Import license, temperature data logger, etc.).
  • Archival of all MAP supplies related documents in Novartis approved repository as per defined nomenclature to support audit readiness for MAP.
  • Timely updating of MAP and CR tracker for all assigned requests.
  • Co-ordinate with different functions as per the project requirement and plan for required supplies.
  • Support Project Managers in efficient utilization of inventory and stock reconciliation.
  • Support Project Managers for management of multi country Cohorts/PSDS program.
  • Efficiently manage inventory and distribution activities at External Service Provider and ensuring supplies as per agreed timelines.
  • Support Project Managers for forecasting, demand & supply planning for new / ongoing Global Cohorts / PSDS and support continuous improvement activities.
Essential Requirements
  • Scientific/Engineering/Supply Chain Degree.
  • +2 years of experience in Supply Chain and knowledge of GxP regulation.
  • Good analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
