Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Trade Surveillance Analyst/ Lead Analyst to support compliance monitoring activities related to trading operations. The role involves managing trade surveillance alerts, performing case investigations, and providing operational support to ensure adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have prior exposure to trading environments such as commodities or other financial markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and review trade surveillance alerts generated from internal monitoring systems.
• Perform initial analysis, investigation, and resolution of alerts in line with compliance procedures.
• Manage end‑to‑end case lifecycle, including documentation, escalation, and closure.
• Provide operational support for surveillance processes and assist in improving alert handling workflows.
• Collaborate with compliance, trading, and operations teams to gather relevant trade data and context.
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting of suspicious or non‑compliant trading activities.
• Maintain proper records and audit trails for all surveillance reviews and case management activities.
• Support ongoing process improvements and regulatory compliance initiatives.

Key Requirements

• 2–8 years of experience in trade surveillance, compliance operations, or market monitoring roles.
• Prior exposure to commodity trading or other financial trading domains (equities, derivatives, FX, etc.).
• Understanding of trading lifecycle, market abuse risks, and surveillance controls is preferred.
• Experience in handling alerts, investigations, and case management systems.
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.

Preferred Qualification

• Experience working in investment banks, commodity trading firms, or financial services organisations.
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks related to market conduct and surveillance.
