Job summary

Ignatiuz is seeking an experienced QA professional to own quality across projects and grow into QA management. The role emphasizes hands-on testing as well as mentoring junior team members and improving QA processes.

You will work closely with delivery teams to identify risks early and ensure strong quality practices across projects. The ideal candidate has 5–7 years of software QA experience, strong knowledge of functional, regression, integration, API, and defect management, and exposure to

Qualifications

• Approximately 5–7 years of software QA experience.
• Proficient in functional, regression, integration, API, and defect-management testing.
• Exposure to automation testing.
• Experience owning QA for projects or releases.
• Experience mentoring junior team members is preferred.
• Strong communication, ownership, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Interested in growing into people-management and QA leadership roles.

Responsibilities

• Own QA activities across assigned projects from requirements review through release.
• Identify quality risks early and ensure adequate test coverage.
• Review test cases, regression coverage, defects, and release readiness.
• Mentor and guide junior QA team members.
• Improve QA processes, standards, checklists, and reporting.
• Participate in root-cause analysis for production issues.
• Collaborate with Developers, BAs, Project Managers and other stakeholders to resolve quality concerns.
• Help improve automation coverage and testing efficiency.
• Track meaningful QA metrics and provide visibility into quality risks.
• Gradually take greater responsibility for QA team supervision and practice management.
