Intellectual Capital HR Consulting Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a motivated Investment Banking Associate to support M&A transactions, capital raises, and other corporate finance services.

The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. You will prepare financial models, conduct industry research, assist in deal documentation, and support senior bankers in negotiations.

Formación

• 2–4 years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or related fields, with a focus on transaction execution.
• Strong experience in financial modelling, valuation, and financial statement analysis.
• Knowledge of M&A processes, capital markets, and transaction documentation.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in the execution of mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, and other corporate finance transactions.
• Prepare financial models, valuations (DCF, precedent transaction, comparable companies), and other analytical frameworks.
• Conduct industry and company-specific research to support due diligence and strategic decision-making.
• Prepare marketing materials, including pitch books, presentations, and client reports.
• Support senior bankers in negotiations, deal structuring, and documentation.
• Assist in managing relationships with clients, investors, legal teams, and other advisors.
• Participate in client meetings and presentations, helping to build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Develop and update financial models for valuation, forecasting, and scenario analysis.
• Perform comprehensive financial analysis to support transaction structuring and negotiation.
• Monitor market trends, industry performance, and competitor landscape to inform strategic recommendations.
• Conduct detailed due diligence, gathering data on target companies, industries, and market conditions.
• Work closely with senior bankers and other team members to drive the execution of transactions.
• Assist in mentoring junior analysts and interns, providing guidance and feedback on their work.

Job Overview :

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Investment Banking Associate to join our dynamic team. The associate will play a key role in supporting the execution of M&A transactions, capital raises, and other investment banking services. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities :

Transaction Execution:

• Assist in the execution of mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, and other corporate finance transactions.


• Prepare financial models, valuations (DCF, precedent transaction, comparable companies), and other analytical frameworks.


• Conduct industry and company-specific research to support due diligence and strategic decision-making.

Qualifications :

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field (MBA or CFA is a plus).

Experience:

2-4 years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or related fields, with a focus on transaction execution.

• Strong experience in financial modelling, valuation, and financial statement analysis.


• Knowledge of M&A processes, capital markets, and transaction documentation.

Skills:

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modelling software.


• Strong understanding of accounting, financial statements, and corporate finance principles.


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.


• Attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
