Job summary

Aristocrat Leisure is seeking a security-focused professional to monitor assets, assess vulnerabilities, and strengthen our external security posture in a dynamic gaming technology environment.

You will work with tools like Shodan, Nmap, Burp Suite, and cloud platforms, documenting findings and collaborating with cross-functional teams to mitigate risks.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles.
• Experience with the OWASP Top 10 security risks.
• Experience with security tools like Shodan, Censys, Nmap, Burp Suite.
• Knowledge of major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and systems hardening.
• Experience with vulnerability management tools (Qualys, Tenable, Nessus, Rapid7 InsightVM).
• Scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python, Perl).
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity or related field.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze data from the ASM platform to identify vulnerabilities and threats.
• Perform basic reconnaissance and fingerprinting of assets.
• Assess vulnerabilities per OWASP Top 10; document findings and initial risk mitigations.
• Contribute to security research to improve attack surface management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to strengthen external security posture.
• Identify, monitor and analyze the organization’s external attack surface.
• Support senior team members in understanding risk exposure.
• Provide clear, concise communications of risks and proposed mitigations.
