Job summary

Riveron seeks an entry-level M&A Analyst in Bengaluru to assist senior team members with financial, operational, and tax issues across deal life cycles, conduct research, and draft sections of client reports and databooks.

Ideal candidates hold CPA/CA/MBA Finance or a Bachelor’s in Accounting, with fresher status or up to one year of experience, and intermediate Excel skills. Willingness to travel and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment are required.

Qualifications

What You’ll Do:

• Assist senior team members to: Use financial acumen, including knowledge of accounting standards such as GAAP, to assist clients on a variety of financial, operational, and tax issues associated with M&A transactions.
• Conduct and review research and analysis of a wide range of financial and accounting issues related to business transactions.
• Assist in the preparation of databook (Trail balances, Balance Sheet, Profit Loss account, quality earnings and net working capital analyses, and other applicable analysis for buy- and sell-side deals).
• Participate in executive management interviews with target companies.
• Draft sections of reports, presentations, and other client-facing deliverables.
• Collaborate with project team to manage workstreams and ensure deadlines are met.

Qualifications:

• CPA/CA/MBA Finance/ Bachelor’s in Accounting
• Fresher (with internships)or 1 year of experience
• Intermediate Excel skills, including knowledge of formulas such as SUM, SUMIF, SUMIFS, VLOOKUP, INDEXMATCH, etc.
• Microsoft 365 (all apps)
