Job summary

Eaton in India is seeking a Chartered Accountant with 0–3 years of experience to join our audit team. You will lead statutory and tax audits for private limited companies, and prepare schedules, notes, and accounting policies for statutory audits.

You will also handle tax audit annexures (Form 3CD), internal controls, asset registers, stock counts, and assist in transfer pricing and GST audits while collaborating with the team for timely outputs.

Qualifications

• Experience in audit firms and statutory audits.
• Proficiency in IND AS accounting standards.
• Proficiency in US GAAP.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead statutory and tax audits for private limited companies.
• Prepare schedules, cash flow statements, notes to accounts, and accounting policies for statutory audits.
• Prepare tax audit annexures including Form 3CD.
• Develop and maintain Internal Financial Control documentation and risk control matrices.
• Perform inventory valuation and stock counts.
• Coordinate audit planning and allocate work within the team; review colleagues’ outputs.
• Prepare fixed asset registers and reconcile assets, reserves, and critical accounts.
• Support transfer pricing and GST audits as required.

What You’ll Do

• Preparation of schedules, cash flow statement, notes to accounts, accounting policy and financial statements for manufacturing and software companies for statutory audit
• Preparation of tax audit annexures for tax audit including Form 3 CD
• Independently lead statutory and tax audit of private limited company
• Prepare or update Internal Financial Control documents, risk control matrix etc as per company process
• Prepare tax computation, MAT and deferred tax working independently and also support on other tax related working
• Preform inventory valuation for manufacturing company, perform stock count
• Perform book closure activity as per audited financial statements
• Prepare, update audit plan, audit strategy, allocation of work, weekly work update to Team Lead and guide and review work done by team if any
• Prepare or update fixed asset register,
• Reconcile fixed asset register, reserves and critical accounts as per IGAAP and US GAAP
• Represents as the primary contact point and support company assigned for audit to resolve internal/external and escalated queries
• To collate and where necessary produce/analyze statistical data/reports as required
• Keeps up-to-date with key business changes and process/technical
• Complete statutory audit for companies, tax audit, transfer pricing audit, GST audit
• Perform IGAAP book closure activity
• Complete on other statutory compliances
• Complete / perform IFC management testing
