Job summary

WNS, part of Capgemini, is seeking an actuarial analyst in Gurgaon to support SII and IFRS17 scope work, perform model validation, sensitivity analysis, and back-testing, and produce base and stressed balance sheets and P&L under Solvency II requirements.

The ideal candidate holds a Graduate or Master’s degree in any field and has cleared actuarial papers from India or the UK actuarial society, with strong communication skills and proficiency in MS Office; SQL/VBA preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate or Master in any stream.
• Actuarial papers cleared from India or UK actuarial society.

Responsibilities

• Understand SII and IFRS17 scope work and complete tasks with high quality.
• Actuarial model result analysis including validation, sensitivity, back-testing.
• Produce base and stressed balance sheet and P&L under Solvency II (IM & SF).
• Good understanding of Prophet Valuation Models.
• Support complex projects and developments.
• Strong communication skills – verbal & written.
• Ability to meet stringent timelines.
• Proficient in MS Office; VBA/SQL coding preferred.
• Think out of the box; contingency management.
• Good decision-making and analytical skills.
• Communicate with client teams about process needs.

• Understanding the requirement of SII and IFRS17 in scope work and complete the assigned tasks with high quality.
• Actuarial model result analysis including validation, analysis of change, economic and non- economic Stresses, Sensitivities, Critical Scenario, Back-testing etc.
• Base and stressed balance sheet and P&L account production on solvency II requirement (both IM & SF)
• Good understanding of Prophet Valuation Models.
