Western Digital is seeking a Trade Operations professional with 5–6 years of experience in HTS and ECCN classification. The candidate should possess strong knowledge of General Rules of Interpretation (GRI), Section Notes, Chapter Notes, and Customs rulings.
This role is critical to ensuring accurate product classification, customs compliance, and smooth cross‑border movement of goods. The position will support trade operations by maintaining accurate classification data, enabling efficient customs clearance, minimizing compliance risk, and ensuring adherence to applicable import and export regulations.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, International Trade, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred).
Experience: 6+ years of hands‑on experience in HS & ECCN classification, customs operations, import/export documentation, or international trade.
Technical Skills:
Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills for interacting with vendors and internal stakeholders.
Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and meticulousness when processing documents and ensuring compliance with complex regulations.
