NXP Semiconductors is seeking a hands-on bench characterization engineer in India to develop and validate test methodologies for ADC/DAC/PLL/USB and related IPs. You will automate data collection, evaluate device performance across process, voltage, and temperature, and ensure high signal integrity in designs.

The role involves close collaboration with design and reliability teams to verify datasheet parameters and support automotive, industrial, and consumer electronics initiatives.

Competenze

• Develop bench characterization methodologies for ADC, DAC, PLL, USB, VREG, OSC, DDR, IO PADs.
• Determine and verify device performance across Manufacturing Process, Voltage, and Temperature for datasheet parameters.
• Develop automated code to control test equipment and collect characterization data.
• Perform Design Evaluation and Bench Characterization for Analog IPs on development devices.

Mansioni

• Lead bench characterization efforts for analog IPs and digital interfaces.
• Write automation to run tests and collect PVT data with minimal human intervention.
• Review schematics/PCB layout to ensure signal integrity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for datasheet parameter verification.

Descrizione del lavoro

• Develop unique and sometimes complex bench characterization test methodologies for ADC,DAC,PLL,USB, VREG, OSC,DDR, LOW POWER and IO PADs in order to determine and verify the device’s functional and electrical performance across Manufacturing Process, Voltage, and Temperature combinations for the datasheet parameters.
• Develop and write automated code to control all test equipment during the collection and processing of characterization data which can run automatically to generate required PVT electrical parameters.
• Perform Design Evaluation and Bench Characterization for Analog IPs on devices still in development servicing the Automotive, Industrial and Select Consumer Electronics industries.
• Provide requirements, review schematics and PCB layout to develop circuit boards that maintain excellent Signal Integrity
