Design, develop and deploy electronics systems for research and development using 4 K systems and dilution refrigerators for quantum hardware and instrumentation. You will join a team designing and building advanced electronics for quantum technologies, working at the point where room-temperature instrumentation meets the cold stage.
Key responsibilities
- Design and develop instrumentation for the measurement of superconducting resonators at 4 K.
- Develop interface electronics between FPGA-based RF control electronics and the dilution refrigerator, including level matching, filtering, signal conditioning and grounding.
- Develop precision current sources for flux bias of superconducting qubits and Josephson parametric amplifiers.
- Develop cryogenic temperature measurement and monitoring systems.
- Establish complete control and measurement systems with attention to thermal management, EMI/EMC, noise reduction, shielding and grounding.
- Support installation, commissioning, testing, debugging and documentation of electronics systems for quantum laboratories.
Qualifications and experience
- B.Tech / M.Tech in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, RF/Microwave Engineering or a related field.
- 1 to 15 years of experience in analog electronics design and development.
- Strong fundamentals and hands-on experience.
- Passion for quantum technologies and advanced research.

Technical skills required
- Strong experience in analog circuit design for low-noise, precision applications
- Design and simulation of electronic circuits and control systems
- Experience with low-noise amplifiers, precision DACs and ADCs
- Microcontroller-based system development
- Proficiency in programming, simulation and circuit layout tools
- High-frequency PCB layout, impedance matching and signal integrity analysis
- Electronics system installation, integration and commissioning
