Qualifications

  • Experience with LDOs, clocking circuits, and ADCs

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and optimize analog circuits, including GPIOs, PLLs, LDOs, and ADCs
  • Perform floor planning, circuit design, and parameter extraction
  • Simulate and verify designs to optimize performance, power, area, timing, and yield
  • Create and execute detailed test plans to verify circuit functionality
  • Collaborate with architecture and layout teams to maximize robustness
  • Analyze and resolve performance issues to meet specs
  • Report progress and ensure timely delivery of high‑quality solutions
  • Work towards reducing leakage and optimizing power, performance, and area across projects

As an Analog Circuit Design Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and optimizing cutting‑edge analog and mixed‑signal circuits in advanced process nodes. Your expertise will contribute directly to Intel's mission of driving innovation and delivering high‑performance, power‑efficient, and scalable IP solutions. Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and optimize analog circuits, including analog behavior models, GPIO, PLLs, LDOs and ADCs for industry-leading IPs.
  • Perform floor planning, circuit design, and parameter extraction, ensuring robust functionality and adherence to microarchitecture specifications.
  • Simulate and verify designs to optimize circuit performance, power, area, timing, and yield goals.
  • Create and execute detailed test plans to verify circuit functionality and evaluate results based on performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with architecture and layout teams to design circuits that maximize robustness, electrical capabilities, and functionality.
  • Analyze, track, and resolve performance issues, ensuring designs meet power and electrical specifications.
  • Report design progress and contribute to cross‑functional collaboration for timely delivery of high‑quality solutions.
  • Work towards reducing leakage and optimizing power, performance, and area of circuits across multiple projects.
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent experience per business needs.
  • 12+ years of experience in analog circuit design with a Bachelor's degree, or 12+ years with a Master's degree.
  • Proficiency in CMOS technologies, circuit simulation, circuit testing, and analog fundamentals.
  • Expertise in analog behavior modeling, analog power circuits, and analog electronics.
  • Technical knowledge of LDO, clocking circuits and analog to digital converters.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail in optimizing performance, power, and area metrics.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in cross‑functional teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle complex circuit design challenges in advanced process nodes.
