Peloton Consulting Group is seeking an experienced Oracle EPM/EPBCS AMS specialist to provide L2/L3 support for planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes. You will handle data loads, rule configurations, and issue resolution in a client-facing AMS environment from India.

This role requires a balance of client relationship management, operational oversight, and strategic thinking to ensure services are delivered efficiently and aligned with evolving client business needs.

Key responsibilities

This role requires candidates to work in IST hours from 5:30 PM to 2:30 AM and have a minimum of 6+years of relevant professional experience, also during daylight saving have to work from 6:30 PM to 3:30 AM IST.

While this is a remote opportunity open to candidates across India, applicants based in Hyderabad or Bangalore will be preferred, as these are our primary hiring locations.

The consultant will work as part of the Application Managed Services (AMS) / Support team, providing functional and technical support for Oracle EPBCS (Enterprise Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service). The role focuses on ensuring smooth planning, budgeting, and forecasting operations while supporting business users and resolving production issues.

• Provide L2/L3 support for Oracle EPBCS planning applications including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.
• Support planning cycles (monthly, quarterly, annual budgeting and forecasting activities)
• Resolve issues related to business rules, calculation scripts, forms, reports, dashboards, and security configurations
• Monitor and support data loads and integrations using Data Management / FDMEE or related tools
• Troubleshoot and resolve application errors, performance issues, and data discrepancies
• Support planning model structures including assumptions, versions, scenarios, and hierarchies
• Perform root cause analysis for recurring issues and provide permanent fixes or workarounds
• Assist with data validation, reconciliation, and tie-outs between planning and source systems
• Handle incident, service request, and minor enhancement tickets within SLA timelines
• Support user access management, security roles, and application maintenance activities
• Coordinate with technical teams for issue resolution, integrations, and system enhancements
• Maintain support documentation, knowledge base articles, and issue resolution logs
• Support business users during planning cycles and financial forecasting periods
• Ensure adherence to ITIL processes (incident, problem, and change management)
• Participate in shift-based support coverage for global users if required

Required Qualifications & Experience

• 5-10 years of experience in Oracle EPM Planning / EPBCS implementation or support (AMS preferred)
• Hands-on experience in Oracle EPBCS or Oracle EPM Planning Cloud applications
• Experience supporting or participating in at least one full planning cycle (budgeting/forecasting)
• Strong understanding of planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes and best practices
• Exposure to business rules, calculation scripts, forms, and reporting in EPBCS
• Experience with Data Management / FDMEE or equivalent integration tools
• Understanding of financial planning concepts and variance analysis
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Experience working in a client-facing AMS or support environment
• Good communication and ability to work independently in a remote setup
• Alignment with delivery values: ownership, teamwork, can-do attitude, and client focus

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with other EPM modules such as FCCS, ARCS, or Narrative Reporting (EPRCS)
• Exposure to ERP integrations (Oracle Cloud ERP or similar systems)
• Experience supporting enterprise finance transformation or planning modernization programs
• Experience in shift-based global support models
• Ability to mentor junior team members in support environments
