A leading airline is seeking an Airport Operations Executive – Ticketing & Reservations in Bengaluru. This role involves managing ticketing and reservation services, providing exceptional customer service, and coordinating with various departments for smooth operations. As an Airport Operations Executive – Ticketing & Reservations, you will be the face of IndiGo at the airport, responsible for delivering seamless ticketing and reservation services to passengers. You will ensure that every customer interaction reflects our commitment to excellence, safety, and efficiency. This is a dynamic, customer-facing role that requires attention to detail, problem-solving capabilities, and a service-oriented attitude.
Manage passenger ticketing, reservations, cancellations, and modifications both online and at the airport counter.
Provide assistance in pre-boarding, check-in procedures, and baggage handling as needed.
Ensure smooth coordination with other departments including security, baggage, and boarding for timely departures.
Resolve customer issues efficiently, ensuring complete satisfaction and adherence to IndiGos service standards.
Handle payment processing through various channels including cash, card, and digital platforms.
Update and maintain accurate records of reservations, payments, and cancellations.
Maintain compliance with DGCA regulations and IndiGos safety and quality procedures.
Ensure timely reporting and documentation of daily operations and passenger feedback.
Bachelors Degree in any stream (Hospitality, Travel, Aviation preferred).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi.
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
Good knowledge of ticketing systems and reservation platforms (e.g., Amadeus, Galileo, or similar is an advantage).
Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure or fast-paced airport environments.
Basic knowledge of airport and airline safety protocols.
0–3 years of experience in airline ticketing, reservations, or airport ground services.
Freshers with strong communication and customer service skills are welcome to apply.
Rotational shifts (including weekends and holidays).
Morning, Evening, and Night shifts as per operational requirements.
Full-time, 6-day working schedule.
Strong multitasking abilities with a keen eye for detail.
Familiarity with aviation regulations and airport protocols.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and reservation systems.
A team player with a proactive, problem-solving approach.
Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods; willing to work in varying weather conditions at the airport.
