Eligibility Criteria

• A medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in Part II of the third schedule should also fulfil the conditions specified in Section 13(3) of the Act).
• Must be registered with the Central/State Medical Council
• A postgraduate degree i.e., MD/MS/DNB/MDS as per MCI rule in the specialty concerned from a recognized University/Institute.
• For Non-Medical Candidates: Applications are invited in the departments of Anatomy, Physiology, Microbiology, Pathology and Pharmacology etc.
• Essential Eligibility Criteria For Non medical candidates: Master’s degree (regular course - UGC recognized / equivalent) viz. M.Sc. in the concerned discipline / subject.
• Ph.D. in the concerned discipline/ subject of an Indian University/Institute or its equivalent Ph.D. degree from a foreign University recognized by the University Grants Commission.

Selection Process

• Based on bio-data, the Search cum Selection Committee may short-list candidates for interview or they may be asked to appear in a written examination in case of large number of applicants.
• Candidates called for interview will have to produce all relevant original documents in proof of details furnished in their application form at the time of interview.
• Selection will be made on the basis of interview/written examination. Short-listing of a candidate for interview/written examination will be done on the basis of educational qualification, experience etc., and/or as per the short-listing criteria as may be decided by the Competent Authority.
• In case a large number of applications are received, a Screening Test may be conducted for short-listing, with the scheme and method (Computer Based Test or Offline Test) notified on the AIIMS Bathinda website.
• The decision of the Executive Director, AIIMS, Bathinda in this regard will be final and binding.
