Your Retail Coach is seeking an AI Video Editor in Pune to craft high-quality content for social media and brand channels. You will edit using traditional tools and AI-powered options, transforming scripts and raw footage into polished outputs that align with brand standards.

You will build short-form content (Reels, Shorts) and longer explainers, manage multiple projects with tight deadlines, and collaborate with marketing to ensure timely delivery.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of video editing experience with a showreel.
• Proficiency in major editing software listed.
• Hands-on experience with AI video tools.
• Ability to handle multiple projects to tight deadlines.
• Good communication and receptive to feedback.

Responsibilities

• Edit videos from raw footage, scripts and briefs, including cuts, transitions, text, sound and colour correction.
• Use AI tools to speed up work, such as AI video and image generation, voiceovers, auto-captions, background removal and upscaling.
• Create short-form content (Reels, Shorts, LinkedIn video) and longer videos such as explainers and product videos.
• Write effective prompts and refine AI outputs until they meet quality and brand standards.
• Add subtitles, motion graphics, music and sound effects.
• Adapt one video into several formats and aspect ratios for different platforms.
• Work with the marketing and content teams to turn ideas and scripts into finished videos on deadline.
• Keep a library of templates, assets and prompts so work stays consistent and repeatable.
• Track what performs well and apply it to future edits.
• Keep up with new AI video tools and test them for the team.

You will turn scripts and raw footage into polished videos for social media, marketing and brand channels, working quickly and keeping the output consistent.

Required Skills & Experience

• 1+ years of experience in video editing, with a portfolio or showreel
• Proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro or CapCut
• Hands-on experience with AI video tools, for example Runway, Pika, Kling, HeyGen, Synthesia, ElevenLabs or Descript
• Good sense of pacing, storytelling and short-form content trends
• Basic knowledge of audio editing, colour and motion graphics
• Ability to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
• Good communication and willingness to take feedback

Good to Have

• Experience with Photoshop, Canva or Figma
• Basic scriptwriting or storyboarding skills
• Understanding of social media platforms and analytics
• Experience editing for B2B, education, recruitment or corporate brands

Education

Degree or diploma in film, media, design or a related field is a plus, but a strong portfolio matters most.
