Job summary

Contact Labs in India is seeking an AI Data Annotation Specialist to transform raw demonstrations from teleoperation and ego video data into structured, machine-readable information. You will annotate, segment, and label visual data to help robotics and embodied AI systems understand actions, objects and interactions.

Work with tools like Encord, CVAT, Label Studio, and Labelbox; maintain high quality through calibration and collaboration with reviewers.

Qualifications

• Experience with image, video, or data annotation projects.
• Familiarity with annotation platforms such as CVAT, Encord, Label Studio, Labelbox or similar tools.
• Strong written communication and comprehension skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and consistency.
• Ability to work independently while following detailed guidelines.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and evolving environment with high agency.

Responsibilities

• Annotate teleop + human ego video datasets, using annotation tools eg Encord.
• Segment activities into clear actions and workflows.
• Apply structured labels based on project-specific taxonomies and guidelines.

• Review annotations for accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
• Participate in quality calibration and feedback sessions.
