Job summary

Ericsson in Noida, India seeks an AI Technical Manager to drive end-to-end AI/GenAI delivery, translating customer needs into robust offerings and strategic roadmaps that fuel business growth.

You will lead cross‑functional teams of AI engineers, data scientists, developers, and solution architects, overseeing estimation, budgets, timelines, risk, and governance while mentoring staff on responsible AI practices.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software development with at least 4+ years in AI/ML or GenAI project delivery.
• Proven ability to lead enterprise-scale AI initiatives.
• Strong Python proficiency and ML/DL framework experience.
• Experience with GenAI tools like LangChain, LlamaIndex, LangGraph, AutoGen, and Crew.ai.
• Knowledge of MLOps, CI/CD, monitoring, drift detection, and container orchestration.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

You will support the Consultants during the requirement analysis and high-level design phases while having the chance to assume responsibilities in Customer Support, sales, and service delivery.

What you will do:

• Lead end-to-end delivery of AI/ML and GenAI projects & ensuring alignment with business strategy and technical excellence.
• Manage cross-functional teams including AI engineers, data scientists, Python/Frontend developers, and solution architects.
• Translate complex business problems into scalable AI solutions and actionable roadmaps.
• Drive project estimation, resource planning, and cost modeling for AI initiatives; manage budgets and track ROI of AI programs.
• Oversee development and deployment of ML/GenAI models, APIs, and agentic systems ensuring reliability, compliance, and security.
• Define technical standards, reusable frameworks, and best practices for model lifecycle management (MLOps).
• Evaluate and select suitable LLMs, vector databases, and orchestration frameworks based on cost, scalability, and business impact.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, and business stakeholders to prioritize and deliver high-value AI initiatives.
• Drive technical evaluations and integration of LLMs, vector databases, orchestration tools, and emerging GenAI frameworks.
• Mentor and guide team members on AI/ML concepts, design patterns, and responsible AI practices.
• Ensure timely delivery, risk management, and continuous improvement through agile project execution.

The skills you bring:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field.
• 10+ years of software development experience with at least 4+ years in AI/ML or GenAI solution delivery.
• Strong technical leadership and people management skills with proven delivery of enterprise-scale AI projects.
• Proficiency in Python (3.x), and hands‑on understanding of ML/DL frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face).
• Experience in architecting or managing GenAI systems using RAG pipelines, embeddings, and vector databases (Elastic, Pinecone, Milvus).
• Working knowledge of GenAI frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, LangGraph, AutoGen, and Crew.ai.
• Familiarity with MLOps pipelines (CI/CD for ML, monitoring, retraining, drift detection) and container orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Exposure to cloud AI platforms (Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, GCP Vertex AI) and modern data architectures.
• Deep understanding of Responsible AI, governance, and compliance requirements in enterprise environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with ability to bridge technical and business teams.
• Prior exposure to Telecom, BFSI, or large enterprise AI adoption programs.
• Certifications in AI/ML, Cloud (Azure/AWS), or Project Management (PMP, Agile).
