Title: AI Strategy & Solutions Manager – Engineering + Business Integration

Reporting To: Global Head of AI & Tech Strategy / Q2IMPACT Leadership

Location: India (Remote with occasional travel)

Position Summary

Q2IMPACT is seeking a hybrid talent with an engineering background and MBA who can lead strategic AI initiatives for business process improvement in global development contexts. This role combines technical expertise, strategic planning, and operational leadership to deliver AI-driven solutions aligned with Q2IMPACT’s mission and international priorities.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Coherence and Alignment
  • Consolidate all AI activities into a unified Wave 1 plan and monitor delivery.
  • Ensure alignment with business priorities (USAID shifts, new markets, decentralization).
  • Drive coordination across working groups to ensure decisions are made, responsibilities are clear, and timelines are met.
  • Define and enforce sequencing of work across teams to prevent duplication and accelerate delivery.
  • Provide monthly delivery updates tracking progress, risks, and leadership decisions.
Prototype Identification and Support
  • Lead selection of 3–5 high-value prototypes and drive them through design, testing, and delivery cycles.
  • Define clear use cases, workflows, and success measures for prototypes.
  • Manage prototype work cycles, ensure timely testing, and validate results.
  • Ensure prototypes demonstrate tangible improvements in workflow efficiency and usability.
Masterclass Redesign and Staff Enablement
  • Coordinate redesign and delivery of the AI Masterclass to make it practical and actionable.
  • Improve clarity of training materials and expectations.
  • Develop support materials and workflows to enable companywide AI adoption and reinforce daily usage.
Proprietary Knowledge & Data Architecture Support
  • Define and drive early scoping for a proprietary knowledge tool aligned with MEL and SharePoint realities.
  • Support strategy for MEL report ingestion, tagging, and use.
  • Coordinate improvements to SharePoint structure and data governance for efficient search and retrieval.
Technical Initiatives
  • Define requirements and workflows for HR/induction bot.
  • Provide recommendations on transitioning Q2MAVERICK toward a secure, closed-source model.
  • Review and refine prototypes to ensure reliability and intended outcomes.
  • Lead design and implementation planning for up to two ‘AI-first’ functions (e.g., Finance, BD).
Education, Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor’s in Engineering (Computer Science, Data Science, or related field)
  • MBA or equivalent business management degree
  • 5+ years in AI/ML development and AI agent creation for business process improvement
  • Proven experience in global development or international projects
  • Python, TensorFlow/PyTorch, NLP frameworks
  • Data architecture and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
  • Familiarity with RAG solutions and workflow automation
  • Strong strategic thinking and stakeholder management
  • Ability to work across cultures and time zones
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
