Extreme Networks, Inc. is seeking an AI Staff SW Systems Engineer to join our Bangalore team on a hybrid, full-time basis.

You will lead and contribute to the design, development, and deployment of scalable real-time data processing and agentic AI systems, guiding architecture, reviews, and hands-on implementation across cloud platforms. The role requires 7+ years in software development, expertise in Python/Java/C++, and experience with distributed systems, microservices, and data processing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years across the complete software development lifecycle, including architecture, design, coding, testing, deployment, and operations.
• 7+ years of programming experience in Python, Java, Go, or C++.
• 3+ years leading design/architecture of large-scale distributed systems on cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud).
• Experience with real-time microservices, stream processing, distributed data platforms, or AI/agentic systems.
