Job summary

Fossil Group in Bengaluru is seeking a Techno-Functional AI Solution & Implementation Manager to lead discovery, solutioning and deployment of AI initiatives across Sales, Finance, Marketing, E-Commerce, Supply Chain and Planning.

The ideal candidate will bridge business stakeholders with technology teams, translating challenges into scalable AI solutions and guiding them from opportunity through adoption. A strong background in AI/GenAI, solution architecture and cloud integration is required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of overall experience in technology delivery, solution engineering, digital transformation or technical program management.
• Minimum 2+ years hands-on AI/ML, Generative AI, LLMs or AI solution implementation.
• Strong experience with GCP / Google Cloud Platform, preferably Vertex AI.
• Practical understanding of Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, AI Agents and Prompt Engineering.
• Experience with Python or Groovy scripting.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, API integration and enterprise application integration.
• Working knowledge of AI deployment / MLOps concepts, CI/CD and containerization.

About the Role

We are looking for a Techno-Functional AI Solution & Implementation Manager to lead the discovery, solutioning and implementation of AI initiatives across key business functions including Sales, Finance, Marketing, E-Commerce, Supply Chain and Planning.

This role will act as the bridge between business stakeholders, technology teams, developers, cloud teams and AI specialists, translating business challenges into scalable AI solutions and driving them from opportunity identification through deployment and adoption.

The ideal candidate combines strong AI/GenAI, solution architecture, cloud and integration knowledge with excellent stakeholder management and project delivery skills.

Key Responsibilities

AI Discovery & Solutioning

• Lead discovery workshops with business leaders to identify and prioritize high-value AI / GenAI use cases.
• Translate business requirements into functional and technical AI solutions.
• Evaluate solution feasibility based on business ROI, data availability, technical complexity, latency and AI/compute costs.
• Design solution blueprints covering LLMs, RAG, AI Agents, vector databases, enterprise data and APIs.
• Develop and optimize prompts and LLM workflows for business applications.

AI Implementation & Delivery

• Lead AI initiatives from discovery and POC through implementation and production deployment.
• Partner with developers, IT, GCP and MLOps teams to ensure successful delivery.
• Drive project plans, milestones, dependencies, risks and delivery timelines.
• Support deployment of AI applications using platforms such as GCP, Vertex AI, Cloud Run and GKE.
• Ensure AI solutions are scalable, reliable and aligned with enterprise architecture.

Integration & Automation

• Work with Python / Groovy, REST APIs and enterprise integrations to support AI workflows.
• Design and implement integrations between AI solutions, business applications and enterprise data sources.
• Leverage low-code / no-code automation platforms to accelerate AI adoption.
• Support custom scripting, payload processing and non-standard integrations where required.

Cloud, Governance & Cost Management

• Work with cloud and infrastructure teams on GCP architecture, connectivity, authentication and API security.
• Demonstrate working knowledge of Vertex AI, BigQuery, Cloud Run, GKE and cloud-based AI deployment.
• Track AI infrastructure, API, token and compute costs.
• Ensure adherence to data privacy, security, governance and responsible AI standards.

Stakeholder & Project Leadership

• Act as the central point of coordination between Business, IT, Developers, AI teams and Cloud teams.
• Communicate complex technical concepts in a business-friendly manner.
• Manage multiple AI initiatives, stakeholders and delivery priorities simultaneously.
• Present solution recommendations, progress, risks and outcomes to senior leadership.

Required Skills & Experience

Preferred Experience

Candidates from AI consulting, technology consulting, digital transformation, enterprise technology, GCC, IT services or large-scale product organizations with experience implementing AI solutions across business functions will be preferred.

Experience working with business functions such as Finance, Sales, Marketing, E-Commerce, Supply Chain or Planning will be an advantage.

Education

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Engineering or a related field.
