Qualifications

- 7+ years of solution architecture or digital transformation experience in logistics.
- Proven AI/ML/Generative AI solution design experience.
- Strong logistics and supply chain process understanding.
- Experience designing cloud-native architectures and enterprise integrations.
- Excellent communication and executive stakeholder management.

- Identify and prioritize AI use cases delivering business value in logistics.
- Define AI strategy and target architecture for logistics solutions.
- Design end-to-end AI architectures integrating SAP S/4HANA, TM, EWM, and data platforms.
- Lead development and deployment of AI-powered capabilities (predictive planning, intelligent document processing).
- Translate requirements into scalable architectures and roadmaps.
- Establish governance, security, compliance, and Responsible AI standards.
- Collaborate with data scientists and engineering teams to industrialize ML/AI solutions.
- Lead pilots, PoCs, and innovations from ideation to production.
- Manage external partners and change management for AI adoption.

As an AI Solution Architect Logistics at Siemens Energy, you will play a key role in shaping the future of intelligent logistics operations by driving the adoption of Artificial Intelligence across our global logistics landscape. You will work at the intersection of business, logistics, data, and technology to identify opportunities, design AI-enabled solutions, and ensure successful implementation across transportation, warehousing, planning, procurement, and supply chain execution processes.
You will collaborate closely with logistics business stakeholders, data scientists, enterprise architects, and digital solution providers to transform business challenges into scalable AI solutions. Your mission is to create measurable value through predictive, generative, and autonomous AI capabilities while ensuring compliance with Siemens Energy’s architecture, security, and governance standards.
- Partner with Logistics business leaders to identify, evaluate, and prioritize AI use cases that deliver tangible business value.
- Define and drive the AI strategy and target architecture for Logistics solutions across Siemens Energy.
- Design end-to-end AI solution architectures integrating SAP S/4HANA, TM, EWM, Business Network, Data Platforms, Microsoft AI services, and other enterprise applications.
- Lead the development and implementation of AI-powered capabilities such as:
- Predictive transportation planning
- AI-assisted warehouse operations
- Intelligent document processing
- Supply chain risk prediction
- Logistics control tower analytics
- Conversational AI and Copilot solutions
- Autonomous process automation
- Translate business requirements into scalable technical architectures and implementation roadmaps.
- Define governance, security, compliance, and Responsible AI standards for Logistics AI solutions.
- Collaborate with data scientists and engineering teams to industrialize machine learning and generative AI solutions.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and AI platforms to continuously improve logistics processes and user experience.
- Drive global standardization and harmonization of AI-enabled logistics processes.
- Lead proof-of-concepts, pilots, and innovation initiatives from ideation to productive deployment.
- Manage relationships with external solution providers, software vendors, and consulting partners.
- Support business adoption and change management activities to ensure successful realization of AI business value.
- Collaborate closely with Enterprise Architecture, Cybersecurity, Data Governance, SAP, and Digitalization teams.
- Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Informatics, Engineering, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in solution architecture, digital transformation, or enterprise application design within Supply Chain or Logistics environments.
- Proven experience designing and implementing AI, Machine Learning, Generative AI, or Advanced Analytics solutions.
- Strong understanding of Logistics and Supply Chain processes
- Knowledge of AI technologies and platforms such
- Experience designing cloud-native architectures and integrating AI services into enterprise application landscapes.
- Strong understanding of data architecture, data governance, master data management, and integration patterns.
- Architectural thinking with the ability to define long-term target architectures and transformation roadmaps.
- Experience leading global, cross-functional digital transformation projects.
- Understanding of Responsible AI, cybersecurity, privacy, and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value and executive-level communication.
- Experience working in agile product teams and international environments.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English;
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Copilot, AI Agents, and Generative AI implementations.
- Experience with process mining and process intelligence tools.
- Knowledge of logistics automation technologies, IoT, robotics, and digital twins.
