Job summary

State Bank of India (SBI) is seeking an experienced AI Solution Architect to define AI-led strategies and translate business needs into end-to-end technology blueprints. The role focuses on identifying AI opportunities, integrating with existing processes, and guiding cross-functional teams in delivering scalable solutions.

The position requires aligning AI capabilities with business outcomes, overseeing technical designs, and ensuring collaboration across data teams, engineers and architecture

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of overall experience, including at least 3 years in AI/analytics solutioning, digital transformation, technology consulting or solution architecture, preferably in BFSI
• Mandatory: Bachelor's / master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Science, AI, Business Administration, Management or a related discipline
• Any certification in business analysis or product management, ML/AI/NLP, web Crawling and Neural Networks will be an added advantage

Responsibilities

• Work with business stakeholders to understand business problems, processes, pain points and desired outcomes.
• Identify opportunities where AI, Generative AI or advanced analytics can create measurable business value.
• Translate business requirements into clear AI solution concepts, functional requirements and end-to-end system blueprints.
• Define how the proposed AI solution fits into existing business processes, applications, data flows and operating models.
• Evaluate alternative solution approaches and recommend the most appropriate AI-led intervention.
• Define functional solution components including user journeys, AI capabilities, human intervention points, business rules, workflows, data requirements and system interactions.
• Collaborate with AI engineers, data scientists, enterprise architects, data teams and application teams to convert the solution blueprint into implementable technical designs.
