Alignity Solutions is seeking an AI Security Engineer to secure how our clients design, build, and adopt AI. You will focus on AI-specific threats and secure architecture across AI-enabled applications, software, and processes.

This role is hands-on and partners with engineering, data, and security teams to design safeguards and drive secure implementation while enabling scalable AI adoption.

• 3+ years of experience in security engineering, security architecture, or application security within 7+ years total work experience.
• Familiarity with AI risks and security controls across AI workloads.
• Ability to review designs and write clear, actionable security requirements.

About the Role

We are seeking an AI Security Engineer to secure how our client designs, builds, and adopts AI. You will focus onAI-specific threats and on secure architecture, design, and implementationacross AI-enabled applications, software, and processes. This is a hands‑onrole that partners with engineering, data, and security teams to design and buildsafeguards.

What You Will Do

• Focus on AI security threats,secure architecture, design, and implementation across AI-enabled applications,software, and processes.
• Partner with relevant stakeholders to ensure AI security standards, architecture templates,safeguards, and security controls are incorporated into AI workloads andapplication designs.
• Assess AI solutions andarchitectures to identify security risks, control gaps, and appropriatesecurity requirements throughout the solution lifecycle.
• Develop and promote reusable AIsecurity architecture patterns to enable consistent and secure adoption of AIcapabilities.
• Identify opportunities toautomate security architecture, assessment, validation, and control processes,leveraging existing security tooling and architecture patterns where practical.
• Research and evaluate AIsecurity testing tools, frameworks, and utilities to strengthen securityvalidation and support secure implementation.
• Support the implementation andintegration of appropriate AI security controls and testing capabilities intoenterprise AI solutions.

What You Bring

• 3+ years of experience in security engineering, security architecture, or applicationsecurity, as part of at least 7 years of overall work experience.
• Working knowledge of AIsecurity risks, such as prompt injection, sensitive data exposure, model andsupply chain risk, and misuse of AI agents and tools, plus familiarity withframeworks like the OWASP Top 10 for LLM Applications, NIST AI RMF, or MITRE ATLAS.
• Ability to review a solutiondesign, identify security gaps, and turn them into clear, practicalrequirements.
• Comfort with scripting orautomation to reduce repetitive security work.
• Strong written and verbalcommunication, and the ability to work well with engineering and data teams.
• Senior-level self-starter whocan own an assignment end to end and see it through with minimal oversight.

Standout Skills

None of these are required. Any one is aplus.

• Experience securing AIworkloads on Google Cloud Vertex AI.
• Experience with threat modelingand secure design reviews.
• Relevant securitycertifications or equivalent demonstrated skill.
• Experience implementing AIsecurity tooling, such as AI Security Posture Management (AISPM) platforms likeWiz AISPM.
