Job summary

Alignity Solutions in Hyderabad, India is seeking an AI Security Engineer to secure AI-based systems and architectures. The role focuses on AI-specific threats, secure design, and hands-on implementation across AI-enabled apps and processes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in security engineering, security architecture, or application security as part of 7+ years total work experience.
• Knowledge of AI security risks (prompt injection, data exposure, model/supply chain risk) and familiarity with OWASP Top 10 for LLM apps, NIST AI RMF, or MITRE ATLAS.
• Ability to review solution designs, identify security gaps, and translate into actionable requirements.
• Comfort with scripting or automation to reduce repetitive security work.
• Strong written and verbal communication, collaborating with engineering and data teams.
• Senior-level self-starter who can own assignments end-to-end with minimal oversight.

Responsibilities

• Focus on AI security threats, secure architecture, design, and implementation across AI-enabled applications, software, and processes.
• Partner with stakeholders to ensure AI security standards, architecture templates, safeguards, and controls are incorporated into AI workloads and designs.
• Assess AI solutions and architectures to identify security risks, control gaps, and appropriate security requirements throughout the lifecycle.
• Develop and promote reusable AI security architecture patterns for consistent and secure adoption of AI capabilities.
• Identify opportunities to automate security architecture, assessment, and control processes using existing tools and patterns.
• Research and evaluate AI security testing tools, frameworks, and utilities to strengthen validation and support secure implementation.
• Support integration of AI security controls and testing capabilities into enterprise AI solutions.

About the Role

We are seeking an AI Security Engineer to secure how our client designs, builds, and adopts AI. You will focus onAI-specific threats and on secure architecture, design, and implementationacross AI-enabled applications, software, and processes. This is a hands‑onrole that partners with engineering, data, and security teams to design and buildsafeguards.

What You Will Do

What You Bring

• 3+ years of experience in security engineering, security architecture, or applicationsecurity, as part of at least 7 years of overall work experience.
• Working knowledge of AIsecurity risks, such as prompt injection, sensitive data exposure, model andsupply chain risk, and misuse of AI agents and tools, plus familiarity withframeworks like the OWASP Top 10 for LLM Applications, NIST AI RMF, or MITRE ATLAS.
• Ability to review a solutiondesign, identify security gaps, and turn them into clear, practicalrequirements.
• Comfort with scripting orautomation to reduce repetitive security work.
• Strong written and verbalcommunication, and the ability to work well with engineering and data teams.
• Senior-level self-starter whocan own an assignment end to end and see it through with minimal oversight.

• Experience securing AIworkloads on Google Cloud Vertex AI.
• Experience with threat modelingand secure design reviews.
• Relevant securitycertifications or equivalent demonstrated skill.
• Experience implementing AIsecurity tooling, such as AI Security Posture Management (AISPM) platforms likeWiz AISPM.
