Qualifications

REQUIREMENT FOR SENIOR AI & APPLICATION SECURITY ENGINEER:

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and map end-to-end developer workflows across planning, coding, testing, CI/CD, deployment, and operations.
• Design, build, and evaluate AI-powered solutions to improve developer productivity and engineering efficiency.
• Develop AI agents and copilots for Product Security teams to automate engineering and security tasks.
• Implement RAG architectures and enterprise knowledge systems using internal documentation, security standards, and best practices.
• Build integrations with developer platforms such as GitHub, GitLab, Jira, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, and IDEs.
• Identify development workflow bottlenecks and recommend AI-driven process improvements while maintaining security standards.
• Act as an Application Security SME for AI-enabled development initiatives.
• Embed security controls and recommendations directly into developer workflows.
• Define secure approaches for AI-assisted coding and AI-generated software.
• Integrate SAST, DAST, IAST, SCA, secrets detection, IaC scanning, and container security into AI solutions.
• Develop security guardrails for AI-generated code and autonomous AI agents.
• Evaluate and mitigate security risks associated with LLMs, AI agents, prompt-based applications, and autonomous software development.
• Drive Secure SDLC and DevSecOps best practices across engineering teams.
• Design, develop, and deploy production-grade applications using C#, ASP.NET, SQL Server, and modern AI/GenAI frameworks.
• Develop enterprise AI applications leveraging LLMs, AI agents, and orchestration frameworks.
• Build and evaluate agentic workflows in collaboration with business and engineering teams.
• Develop evaluation frameworks to measure AI effectiveness, security, reliability, and developer adoption.
• Work with large-scale datasets and engineering telemetry to generate actionable insights.
• Develop APIs, microservices, services, and integrations supporting enterprise AI capabilities.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product Security, Platform Engineering, DevOps, and Developer Experience teams.
• Present technical findings, AI opportunities, security risks, and recommendations to technical leaders and executives.
• Influence enterprise strategy for secure AI-assisted software development.
• Drive adoption of AI solutions while ensuring compliance with enterprise security and engineering standards.

Who Can Apply?

7+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Security Engineering, Application Security, Product Security, or related fields.

Minimum 3+ years of hands-on AI/ML/GenAI development experience in enterprise environments.

Strong experience with developer platforms, CI/CD, DevOps, and modern software delivery practices.

Prior experience in Application Security, Product Security, DevSecOps, or Secure SDLC programs.

Strong programming experience in one or more of Python, C#/.NET, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Go.

Hands-on experience with LLM platforms such as Azure OpenAI, OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar.

Experience with AI agent frameworks and LLM orchestration platforms.

Strong understanding of RAG, Vector Databases, Embeddings, Knowledge Retrieval Systems, Prompt Engineering, AI Agents, and Agentic AI.

Strong understanding of REST APIs, microservices, cloud-native architectures, and enterprise integrations.

Experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP.

Strong knowledge of Secure SDLC, DevSecOps, OWASP Top 10, and Threat Modeling.

Hands-on experience with SAST, DAST, IAST, SCA, Secrets Detection, IaC Security, Container Security, and Secure Coding Practices.

Ability to conduct code reviews and identify security vulnerabilities and risks.
