Job Overview
TE Connectivity is seeking a hands‑on, highly technically skilled Enterprise AI Security Architect. This strategic role focuses on reviewing and securing AI systems, guiding AI COEs (Centers of Excellence) and AI application teams to align with enterprise standards articulated in our AI security framework and the overall AI standards (fit for use, technology stacks, etc.) defined by the AI leadership teams. The position brings together traditional security architecture with emerging AI security governance and risk management.
You will partner with Security Engineering, Infrastructure, Legal, Compliance, Business leadership and all AI COEs to embed secure‑by‑design principles, influence roadmaps, and conduct regional architecture and compliance reviews that balance business velocity with risk and security best practices.
Responsibilities
AI Security Architecture, Design & Review (75%)
- Define and maintain target‑state AI security architecture, reference patterns, and security/compliance requirements.
- Conduct security architecture/design reviews for AI systems across on‑prem, cloud, and SaaS environments.
- Collaborate with Security Engineering/SRM to align platform & application security standards and embed them into the SDLC.
- Partner with AI teams to gather, document, and understand requirements.
- Establish logging/telemetry standards and control verification.
- Create clear, accurate documentation (designs, review outcomes, standards) in ESA repositories.
Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of AI/GenAI/Agentic AI concepts, AI agents, MCP, LLMs, and security controls.
- Expertise in authentication, authorization, integration, data protection, model security, threat protection, and guardrails.
- Deep knowledge of cryptography, network security, protocols, and systems.
- Experience with SIEM, IDS/IPS, DLP, endpoint protection, vulnerability tools.
- Cloud security expertise (AWS, Azure required; GCP/Ali preferred).
- Enterprise architecture knowledge (TOGAF).
- Operating system knowledge (Windows, Linux, Unix).
- Compliance knowledge (ISO 42001, EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, GDPR, US AI frameworks).
Soft Skills

- Support incident response, control implementation, IAM, and data protection governance.
- Define measurable controls, manage exceptions, and risk acceptance.
- Enable continuous control validation and control‑as‑code.
Candidate Desired Profile
Qualifications
Must‑Have
- 10+ years in IT and cybersecurity with deep experience across multiple fields such as security architecture and regional compliance.
- Proven track record within enterprise security architecture and regulatory compliance programs.
- Hands‑on technical expertise with modern cloud services (security / platform / IAM / organizational control policies).
- Hands‑on experience with cloud hosted AI and ML building block services (AWS Bedrock, Bedrock Guardrails, Azure Foundry / Cognitive Services, SageMaker AI, S3, etc.).
- Expertise in IAM concepts, especially within AWS and Azure services.
- Strong grasp of ISO 27001, NIST CSF/800‑53, and major regulatory regimes.
- Ability to translate technical risk into business impact.
- Presentation skills (technical & executive).
- Organized, articulate, detail‑oriented.
- Ability to multi‑task, prioritize, work independently, and strong time‑management skills.
Nice‑to‑Have
- Experience in highly regulated or high‑scale environments.
- Background in threat modeling and quantitative risk.
- Exposure to Cybersecurity, Compliance and Data Governance.
- General knowledge of platform technologies and best practices (servers, storage, compute, networking).
