Job summary

PwC Acceleration Center India is seeking an AI QE Engineer - Manager to drive quality engineering within our Technology Consulting practice. You will lead teams, implement leading QA standards, and coach developers to deliver reliable software across complex client projects.

You will own planning, budgeting, execution, and continuous improvement, applying GenAI tools, ML concepts, and modern automation to improve performance and user experience while upholding PwC's professional standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 8+ years of experience in QA engineering and testing.
• Proficiency with GenAI tools for testing and defect analysis.
• Experience leading quality engineering initiatives.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms and modern test automation.
• Strong prompts engineering and LLM concepts.
• Excellent communication in English.

As an AI QE Engineer - Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving quality engineering within our Technology Consulting practice. You will focus on implementing leading practice standards in software development and testing processes, utilizing your technical experience to identify and resolve defects, optimising performance, and enhancing user experience. As a Manager, you will leverage your leadership skills to motivate, develop, and inspire your team to deliver quality outcomes. You will be responsible for coaching and managing performance to meet client expectations, while articulating our purpose and values with integrity and authenticity.

• Leading quality engineering initiatives to enhance software development and testing processes
• Implementing quality assurance methodologies to identify and resolve software defects
• Optimising performance and enhancing user experience through strategic testing practices

What You Must Have

• At least a Bachelor's degree
• At least 8 years of experience
• Oral and written proficiency in English required

What Sets You Apart

• Agent orchestration/AI accelerator building experience
• Banking & Insurance, Pharma & Healthcare, Telecom, Media & Technology.
• Hands‑on use of GenAI/AI tools (2 tools are must :GitHub CoPilot, ChatGPT, Cursor, Claude, Gemini) for software testing — requirements analysis, test scenario identification, test-case generation, test-data generation, automation code generation, execution support and defect analysis
• Ability to create and refine prompts/context for generating test scenarios, test cases, automation scripts, test data and defect analysis.
• Understanding of LLMs, tokens/context windows, hallucinations, temperature, grounding and prompt/context management
• Ability to develop and maintain automation with AI assistance (Playwright with MCP, Selenium with MCP Tosca, Karate, REST Assured). Experience in connecting to MCP server.
• TypeScript/JavaScript, Java or Python, AWS, Azure or GCP, Test Management(Jira, Azure DevOps, Xray, Zephyr or equivalent)
• Demonstrating proficiency in Quality Assurance Engineering and Testing
• Utilising advanced skills in Selenium for browser automation
• Excelling in strategic planning and execution for client projects
• Embracing technology and innovation to enhance project delivery
• Mentoring junior staff to develop their skills and capabilities
• Analyzing complex systems to identify linkages and interactions
