Job Description: The opportunity: Hitachi Energy is seeking a highly motivated and seasoned AI Project Manager to spearhead our AI Solutions Team. The AI Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering AI initiatives across the organization. The role requires strong project management expertise combined with a working understanding of AI/ML technologies.

• Support change management activities and drive user adoption of AI solutions through communication and training coordination.
• Ensure AI projects follow defined delivery frameworks, governance standards, and best practices.
• Oversee project adherence to data privacy, security, regulatory, and ethical AI requirements in collaboration with relevant teams.
• Manage vendor engagements, including scope alignment, delivery tracking, and performance reviews.
• Support release planning, deployment coordination, and integration of AI solutions into existing systems and workflows.
• Facilitate retrospectives and lessons-learned sessions to improve future AI project delivery.
• Maintain a working knowledge of AI/ML concepts, data pipelines, model lifecycle, and deployment approaches to effectively manage delivery.
• Collaborate with technical leads to understand solution architectures, dependencies, and risks.
• Support tool, platform, and framework evaluations from a delivery, scalability, and cost perspective (not direct implementation).
• Ensure technical complexities and constraints are appropriately reflected in project plans and stakeholder communications.
• Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your Background

• Experience working in a global, cross-functional environment.
• Exposure to enterprise AI applications in sectors like healthcare, finance, manufacturing, or retail.
• Certifications in Project Management (Prince2, PMP etc.) AI/ML or cloud technologies.
