Responsibilities

About the role

We are looking for an AI Product Analyst with 0–3 years of experience who is interested in analyzing AI-powered products, understanding user needs, and improving product performance through data-driven insights.

You will work closely with our product, engineering, and AI teams to analyze product usage, evaluate AI-generated outputs, identify product gaps, and translate business requirements into actionable insights.

The role provides exposure to multiple areas of AI product development, including Generative AI, LLM applications, AI agents, conversational AI, workflow automation, product analytics, user experience, and AI performance evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Analyze AI-powered products and features to understand user behavior, adoption, engagement, and overall product performance.
• Gather, document, and analyze product requirements, business needs, and user feedback.
• Work closely with product managers, engineers, and AI teams to identify opportunities for product improvement.
• Track key product metrics, including user engagement, feature adoption, task completion, conversion rates, and retention.
• Evaluate AI-generated outputs for accuracy, relevance, consistency, and alignment with product requirements.
• Analyze AI agent workflows and identify bottlenecks, failure points, and opportunities for automation.
• Conduct root cause analysis to investigate product issues, unexpected behavior, and performance gaps.
• Prepare product reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations.
• Translate data and user feedback into actionable product insights and improvement opportunities.
• Assist in defining product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and feature specifications.
• Collaborate with engineering and QA teams to validate new features, test product behavior, and ensure requirements are met.
• Conduct competitor research and market analysis to identify product trends, emerging AI capabilities, and opportunities for differentiation.
• Monitor product experiments and feature releases to measure their impact on user experience and business outcomes.
• Stay updated with developments in Generative AI, LLMs, AI agents, product analytics, and AI-powered product experiences.

Required Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and identify meaningful patterns.
• Basic understanding of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or Generative AI.
• Familiarity with product analytics concepts, including user engagement, feature adoption, conversion funnels, and retention.
• Working knowledge of SQL for querying, filtering, and analyzing data.
• Familiarity with Excel or Google Sheets for data analysis, reporting, and visualization.
• Understanding of product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and feature documentation.
• Ability to analyze user feedback, identify recurring issues, and recommend product improvements.
• Basic understanding of APIs, AI-powered applications, and how software products function.
• Good communication skills and the ability to present analytical findings clearly.

Good to Have

• Hands-on experience with product analytics tools such as Mixpanel, Amplitude, Google Analytics, or similar platforms.
• Experience with SQL-based data analysis and dashboarding tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker Studio.
• Exposure to Generative AI applications, LLMs, AI agents, chatbots, or conversational AI products.
• Familiarity with AI evaluation concepts, including response accuracy, relevance, latency, reliability, and user satisfaction.
• Basic understanding of prompt engineering and the limitations of AI-generated responses.
• Experience with Python for data analysis, automation, or exploratory data analysis.
• Familiarity with product management tools such as Jira, Linear, Notion, or similar platforms.
• Exposure to A/B testing, product experiments, funnel analysis, and hypothesis-driven decision-making.
• Experience conducting user research, competitor analysis, or usability testing.
• Experience working on AI product projects, analytics projects, product case studies, or data-driven product improvement initiatives.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
