Job summary

smartData is seeking a skilled Python Developer to design and build AI-powered applications leveraging Generative AI, prompt design, and LLM integration. You will work across the full development lifecycle, from requirements and prompt design to API integration, deployment, and optimization of AI-driven solutions.

Ideal candidates have 3–6 years in Python, strong API development skills, and hands-on experience with AI platforms and vector databases.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of Python development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python and API development (FastAPI/Flask/Django).
• Hands-on experience with Prompt Engineering and LLM integration.
• Experience with OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Gemini, or similar platforms.
• Knowledge of LangChain, LlamaIndex, Hugging Face, or related frameworks.
• Experience with vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, Chroma, FAISS).
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, databases, and cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with Git, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to end-to-end AI-powered application development across requirement analysis, prompt design, API integration, deployment, and optimization.
• Collaborate with product, business, and engineering teams to build scalable AI solutions.
• Develop chatbot, document intelligence, workflow automation, and enterprise automation features.
• Ensure code quality, testing, and production monitoring in AI-driven projects.

The role involves collaborating with product, business, and engineering teams to develop AI-powered applications that improve business processes, customer experiences, and operational efficiency.The candidate should be comfortable working across the entire development lifecycle, from requirement analysis and prompt design to API integration, deployment, and optimization of AI-driven applications. Experience with chatbot development, document intelligence, workflow automation, knowledge management systems, and AI copilots will be highly preferred.
