Position: IT Intern (AI & ML)
Internship Duration: 6 Months
Stipend: 8,000 per month
Department: Information Technology (IT)
Location: Hingna, Nagpur
Reporting To: IT Manager / Senior IT Executive

About the Role

We're looking for AI/ML interns to work alongside our engineering team on [production ML systems / LLM-powered features / computer vision pipelines pick what's true]. This is a hands-on role: you'll own small pieces of real projects end to end, not shadow someone else's work. You'll get regular code reviews, a dedicated mentor, and exposure to how models actually get shipped and maintained.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, train, and evaluate machine learning models for [use case — e.g. recommendation, document extraction, forecasting]
• Clean, preprocess, and analyse datasets; handle missing data, class imbalance, and feature engineering
• Run experiments, track results, and present findings clearly to the team
• Fine-tune or prompt-engineer LLMs and integrate them into application workflows
• Write clean, documented Python code and collaborate via Git
• Assist with deploying models and monitoring their performance post-release
• Stay current with relevant research and share useful findings internally

Required Skills

• Strong Python fundamentals
• Working knowledge of ML concepts: supervised/unsupervised learning, model evaluation metrics, overfitting and regularisation
• Familiarity with at least one of: TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn
• Comfort with NumPy, Pandas, and basic data visualisation
• Solid grounding in statistics and linear algebra
• Ability to read documentation and debug independently

Good to Have

• Projects or coursework involving NLP, computer vision, or generative AI
• Exposure to LLM APIs, LangChain, or vector databases
• Git, SQL, or basic cloud experience (AWS/GCP/Azure)
• Kaggle participation, published notebooks, or an active GitHub
• A research paper, hackathon win, or open-source contribution

Eligibility

• Pursuing or recently completed B.E./B.Tech/M.Tech/MCA/M.Sc in CS, IT, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field
