Job summary

AVIX Labs in Chennai invites an AI/ML Engineer to design, develop, and deploy AI-powered applications that address real-world business use cases. The role covers working with large language models, retrieval-based systems, and scalable backend services.

You will collaborate with product and engineering teams, build data pipelines for embeddings and indexing, and optimize performance, latency, and cost of AI solutions using FastAPI or Node.js.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python programming.
• Experience with FastAPI or similar frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with LangChain and LlamaIndex.
• Knowledge of vector databases and embeddings.
• Familiarity with AWS services.
• Bonus: experience with fine-tuning or prompt engineering.
• Bonus: understanding multi-agent systems.
