Job summary

Retail Insights in Bengaluru is seeking an experienced AI/ML professional to design, develop and deploy ML models that solve business problems. The role will work closely with business, product and data teams to translate requirements into AI solutions and drive end-to-end model development.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in AI / Machine Learning or advanced analytics roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python-based ML development.
• Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms, statistics, and data modeling.
• Experience working with structured and unstructured data.
• Ability to design end-to-end ML solutions from problem definition to deployment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to explain complex ML concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience working in Agile / Scrum delivery environments.
• Prior experience in Retail, E-commerce, or Consumer domain is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Support model deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management in production environments.
• Implement explainability, validation, and bias checks for AI models.
• Document model assumptions, methodologies, and outcomes.
• Support UAT, business validation, and post-deployment optimization.
• Act as a subject-matter expert for AI/ML best practices and frameworks.
• Mentor junior AI/ML engineers and contribute to AI standards and guidelines.
• Stay updated with advancements in AI/ML technologies and apply them where relevant.
