Siemens Energy in India is seeking a junior AI/ML engineer to join a hands-on engineering team in Gurgaon. You will assist in building and maintaining ML pipelines (data preprocessing, training, evaluation and inference) and contribute to backend APIs using Python.

You’ll work on NLP tasks, RAG-based workflows and model deployment, collaborating with senior engineers. A CS/IT degree with 6 months to 1 year AI/ML exposure, Python skills, and basic ML knowledge are expected.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or related field.
• 6 months to 1 year of experience or strong academic/project background in AI/ML.
• Good programming skills in Python and strong problem-solving ability.
• Basic understanding of ML concepts, NLP and model evaluation.
• Exposure to libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, scikit-learn, or PyTorch/TensorFlow.
• Familiarity with Generative AI concepts (LLMs, prompt engineering, or RAG is a plus).
• Basic understanding of APIs and backend development.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) is a plus.
• Knowledge of Git and basic software development practices.
• Willingness to learn, adapt, and work in a fast-paced environment.
