Job summary

Citi is seeking a Senior AI Transformation Lead within Analytics & Information Management (AIM) in Bengaluru to define, execute, and deliver the AI transformation roadmap. You will collaborate with senior AI product leads and engineers to deliver AI-powered improvements across analytics processes and drive adoption across Citi.

Responsibilities include setting KPIs, aligning with business leaders, and scaling AI agent-led analytics across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Statistics, Engineering, or related quantitative discipline.
• 15+ years of progressive experience in analytics, data science, and AI/ML, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Strong executive communication with MD/C-suite stakeholders.
• Deep knowledge of Generative AI architectures (LLMs, RAG pipelines, prompt engineering) and Agentic AI systems; hands-on production deployment experience; familiarity with MLOps.

• Design & deliver AI-led transformation of Analytics processes for AIM aligned with Citi's enterprise AI direction.
• Drive AI adoption across AIM and align with business stakeholders to accelerate analytics solutions.
• Evolve AIM processes with AI agents; define roadmap, milestones & KPI for the transformation journey.
• Contribute to enterprise-level AI-led transformation vision and scale AI agent-led analytics across Citi.

At AIM, we are at critical moment in our AI transformation journey. This is a unique & exciting opportunity to define, execute & deliver AIM’s AI transformation roadmap. We are radically evolving the way Analytics is developed & delivered with an AI-first approach. This role, along with a dedicated team of senior AI product leads & engineers, has the mandate to deliver AI-powered improvement of all Analytics processes and drive significant efficiency, define & build forward looking AI agent integrated Analytics product & capabilities to transform our service delivery model. Key success metrics for this role are:

Design & deliver AI-led transformation of Analytics processes for AIM, in alignment with Citi's enterprise AI direction Drive AI adoption across AIM and align with key stakeholders in business to increase speed-to-market of Analytics solutions & recommendations Continue to evolve AIM processes & capabilities with AI agents Define roadmap, milestones & KPI for AIM’s AI transformation journey - be accountable for success of these KPIs Contribute to enterprise level vision for AI-led transformation of Analytics - support expanding AIM’s AI / AI agent led Analytics process to entire Citi enterprise

About you:

You will be directly reporting to Head of AIM leading a growing multi-tiered organization of AI engineers, Data Scientists.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Statistics, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline from a premier institution.
• 15+ yearsof progressive experience in analytics, data science, and AI/ML, includingat least 5 yearsin a senior leadership role.
• Strong executive communication and influencing skills — with a verifiable track record of engaging and advising Managing Director / C-suite level stakeholders.
• Deep working knowledge of Generative AI architectures (LLMs, RAG pipelines, prompt engineering), Demonstrated understanding of Agentic AI systems, Hands-on expertise in building and deploying solutions in production, Familiarity with MLOps practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the financial services industry, particularly across Operations, Risk, Finance, or Business Management analytics domains.
• AI-related publications and demonstrated thought leadership in the industry.
