Job summary

GE Vernova, Inc. is seeking an AI Infrastructure & Governance Lead to serve as the technical bridge between PCS AI teams and GE Vernova IT and platform groups in Chennai. You will remove roadblocks, provision resources, and ensure secure, compliant data access and tooling.

You will shape governance, data privacy, IP protection, and ethical AI usage while coordinating with enterprise IT to reuse existing platforms and avoid reinventing the wheel.

Qualifications

• Strong technical background in AI/Data infrastructure (Cloud, MLOps, Data Governance).
• Experience navigating enterprise-level IT organizations and security compliance requirements.
• Ability to translate technical infrastructure needs into clear requests for platform teams.

Responsibilities

• Technical Facilitation: liaison between PCS AI team and GE Vernova/IT teams to provision resources, cloud environments, and data pipelines.
• Governance & Compliance: establish guardrails for data privacy, IP protection, and ethical AI usage.
• Infrastructure Management: promote enterprise-approved platforms and tools; leverage existing GE Vernova capabilities.
• Technical Roadblock Removal: troubleshoot infrastructure issues (latency, data access, tool licensing) restricting project work.

The AI Infrastructure & Governance Lead is the \"technical bridge\" between the PCS business and the broader GE Vernova (GEV) IT and platform teams. Your role is to remove technical and compliance-related roadblocks, ensuring that our AI teams have the environment, data access, and security guardrails they need to work securely and effectively.

Job Description

• Technical Facilitation: Act as the primary liaison between the PCS AI team and GEV/Electrical IT/Platform teams to provision resources, cloud environments, and data pipelines.
• Governance & Compliance: Establish and enforce guardrails regarding data privacy, IP protection, and ethical AI usage, ensuring all PCS projects remain compliant with GEV standards.
• Infrastructure Management: Facilitate the adoption of enterprise-approved platforms and tools, ensuring the PCS team is not reinventing the wheel but leveraging existing GEV capabilities.
• Technical Roadblock Removal: Troubleshoot infrastructure issues (e.g., latency, data access, tool licensing) that prevent work stream leaders from deploying models.
