Job summary

Ernst & Young Advisory Services Sdn Bhd in India invites an experienced professional to lead the AI Governance Operations & Platform. You will own the ServiceNow-based governance platform, drive enforcement of governance requirements, risk assessments, and controls across AI/GenAI projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Risk Management, or related discipline.
• 20+ years of experience in governance, risk management, compliance, IT controls, ServiceNow, or enterprise platform management.
• Experience serving as a Governance Lead, Product Owner, Platform Manager, Business Analyst, or similar role.
• Experience working with enterprise governance, compliance, workflow, or GRC platforms.
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Experience managing process implementation across large, complex organizations.

Responsibilities

• Operationalize EY's AI Governance framework across all AI, GenAI, ML, and intelligent automation solutions.
• Own the ServiceNow-based governance platform and drive governance compliance throughout the AI lifecycle.
• Define platform roadmap, requirements, and prioritize work items for governance capabilities.
• Coordinate with risk, privacy, legal, and IT to ensure regulatory alignment and evidence generation.
• Develop governance dashboards and reports for executives and stakeholders.

AI Governance Operations & Platform Lead

Role Purpose

The AI Governance Operations & Platform Lead is responsible for operationalizing EY's AI Governance framework across all AI and Generative AI solutions developed, deployed, or consumed within the organization. This role serves as the Product Owner and Operational Lead for the AI Governance platform, built on ServiceNow, ensuring governance requirements, risk assessments, controls, and compliance obligations are consistently implemented, monitored, and evidenced throughout the AI lifecycle.

The role acts as the critical bridge between business stakeholders, AI solution teams, risk and compliance functions, and the global AI governance organization to translate governance requirements into scalable workflows, controls, and automation within the governance platform.

Role Summary:

Lead the operational execution of EY's AI Governance framework by owning the ServiceNow-based governance platform, ensuring AI solutions comply with governance requirements, controls, and risk management standards while enabling scalable, automated, and effective governance

Key Responsibilities

AI Governance Operations

• Operationalize EY's AI Governance framework across all AI, GenAI, Machine Learning, and intelligent automation solutions.
• Ensure governance controls are embedded throughout the AI lifecycle, from ideation and development through deployment, monitoring, and retirement.
• Drive onboarding of AI solutions into the governance platform and ensure compliance with mandatory governance requirements.
• Facilitate execution of AI risk assessments, control evaluations, approvals, and periodic compliance reviews.
• Monitor governance compliance metrics and identify control gaps, policy deviations, and remediation requirements.
• Support audits, regulatory reviews, and internal compliance assessments related to AI governance.

AI Governance Platform Ownership

• Serve as Product Owner for the ServiceNow-based AI Governance platform.
• Define and prioritize platform roadmap, enhancements, user stories, and functional requirements.
• Ensure governance workflows, approval processes, and control assessment mechanisms remain aligned to evolving business and regulatory requirements.
• Manage platform configuration, testing, release planning, user adoption, and operational support.
• Work with ServiceNow development teams to implement new governance capabilities and integrations.
• Drive automation of governance activities wherever possible to improve operational efficiency and compliance monitoring.
• Support management and execution of the AI Risk and Controls Matrix (RACM).
• Ensure governance controls are mapped to applicable AI risks and regulatory obligations.
• Monitor control implementation status and effectiveness across AI solutions.
• Support implementation of Responsible AI principles, AI control standards, and compliance requirements.
• Maintain governance evidence and reporting needed to demonstrate adherence to enterprise AI policies.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Partner with AI product owners, engineering teams, architecture teams, across ET, CT and Info Sec, privacy, legal, risk management, and business stakeholders.
• Translate governance policies and standards into practical platform workflows and operational processes.
• Gather business requirements and convert them into governance platform capabilities.
• Facilitate governance review meetings and provide guidance on compliance obligations and control requirements.
• Act as the primary point of contact for platform-related governance inquiries.
• Develop governance dashboards, metrics, and executive reporting.
• Track platform adoption, governance coverage, control compliance, and remediation activities.
• Drive continuous improvement of governance processes, controls, and platform functionality.
• Benchmark governance practices against industry standards and emerging regulations.

Required Qualifications & Experience
