Job summary

Teciem in Bengaluru is seeking a hands-on AI Engineering Lead to guide a team of AI engineers, design GenAI solutions, and deliver production-ready software. You will write code alongside your team and drive end-to-end development of GenAI products aligned with business goals.

You will report to the Paris-based AI Engineering Manager, collaborating across product, design, and engineering to set technical direction, stay ahead of AI trends, and foster an inclusive, innovative team culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with a focus on AI/ML.
• 7+ years of software development experience, including 2+ years in AI/ML/GenAI engineering.
• Proven experience leading and mentoring engineering teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Deep expertise in AI/ML, with hands-on experience in GenAI, LLMs, NLP.
• Demonstrated success in deploying GenAI solutions in production.
• Proficiency in Python and familiarity with large-scale analytics and machine learning libraries.
• Experience with LangGraph, MCP.
• Ability to work autonomously across distributed teams.

What will you contribute? We are looking for a hands-on AI Engineering Lead to join our Bangalore-based team at Teciem. You will lead a team of AI engineers in India while remaining a hands-on contributor in your own right-writing code and delivering GenAI solutions alongside your team. You will take ownership of our GenAI products, be a driving force in shaping their technical direction, unblock complex challenges, and ensure solutions reach production quality. You will report to the Paris-based AI Engineering Manager.
