Job summary

Cehpoint is seeking a paid internship to contribute to LLM-powered applications, multi-agent frameworks, and vector search pipelines. The role is fully remote across India, with a hardware allowance and potential progression to full-time.

You will collaborate with senior AI engineers, gain hands-on experience with OpenAI, Claude, or Gemini APIs, and participate in a 5-day live technical milestone as part of the evaluation.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Python or modern Node.js/TypeScript architecture.
• Foundations of LLMs including context windows, embeddings and prompt engineering.
• Experience with vector databases and semantic similarity search.

Job description

Work alongside senior AI engineers to develop, optimize, and deploy LLM-powered applications, multi-agent frameworks, and vector search pipelines for enterprise clients.

Section 02

Mandatory Foundational Knowledge

• Python 3.10+ async programming or modern Node.js/TypeScript architecture
• Foundations of LLMs: context windows, embeddings, prompt engineering, fine-tuning vs RAG
• Vector databases (Postgres pgvector, Qdrant, or Pinecone) and semantic similarity search
• REST API architecture, streaming endpoints, and asynchronous event loops

Section 03

Mandatory Practical Skills & Architecture

• Clean, modular code architecture and API integration
• Hands-on experience with OpenAI, Claude, or Gemini APIs and open weights
• Git version control and collaborative GitHub PR workflows
• Debugging, token profiling, and latency optimization in production AI pipelines

5-day live technical evaluation milestone

5-Day Live Evaluation Milestone: Implement and evaluate an autonomous document-grounded retrieval agent with latency under 1.5s, validated by automated test suite.

Institutional hiring protocol: candidates who clear resume screening take a live practical milestone of strictly 5 working days. Verifiable completion and code audit by your assigned engineering mentor is the sole prerequisite for the official offer letter.

Compensation & Advancement

• Compensation as published: Paid internship — ₹10,000–₹20,000/month.
• Fully remote work from anywhere in India with home-labour hardware allowance.
• Direct progression into full-time corporate appointments on milestone verification.
