Keywords Studios Plc in Pune, India, is hiring a Backend AI Engineer to design, build, and scale backend services powering AI Agents for gaming. You will work on high-throughput workflows, AI-powered automation, and RAG pipelines, collaborating with AI/ML teams to deploy reliable systems.

You will develop REST APIs, integrate AI components, and manage databases (MongoDB, PostgreSQL, YugabyteDB) with Docker/Kubernetes, plus AWS/GCP cloud deployment and CI/CD practices.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of backend software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python and backend frameworks, especially FastAPI.
• Experience building backend APIs and workflow integrations.
• Solid understanding of databases such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and YugabyteDB.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Python and FastAPI.
• Build backend workflows supporting AI Agents and customer support automation use cases.
• Develop secure and performant REST APIs for internal and external consumers.

# AI Engineer - NLP & Generative AIApplyAbout the RoleWe are looking for a Backend AI Engineer to join our AI engineering team and help build and scale backend systems that power AI Agents for the gaming industry, handling millions of customer support tickets at scale.In this role, you will work on high-throughput backend services, AI-powered workflows, and retrieval-based systems that support large-scale customer support automation.
