As an AI Engineer Intern at vunai, you'll work directly on the systems we build for clients - LLM pipelines, embedding-based retrieval, agent workflows, and more. This is for people who want to learn how AI actually gets shipped, not just trained.

What you'll do

• Implement and experiment with LLM prompting strategies and chain-of-thought patterns
• Fine-tune and evaluate open-source models on client-specific data
• Assist in integrating AI systems into backend services
• Research new models, tools, and techniques and share findings with the team

What we're looking for

• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in CS, AI, or related
• Comfortable with Python; familiar with PyTorch or Hugging Face transformers
• Has read at least a few AI papers and understands transformer basics
• Built something with an LLM API (even a personal project)
• Clear communicator who can explain what a model is doing and why
• Duration: 3-6 months
• On-site in Surat, Gujarat, India
• Stipend provided
• Strong performers considered for full-time roles
