Job summary

LG Electronics, Inc. in Bengaluru/Noida is seeking an AI/ML Engineer to design, develop, and deploy ML/DL models on resource-constrained edge devices. The role focuses on optimizing performance, accuracy, and power efficiency across edge computing platforms.

The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of ML/DL fundamentals, model optimization, transfer learning, and hands-on experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-Learn, plus Python and C++ programming skills.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding and hands-on experience in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Model Optimization, Transfer Learning, Statistical Modeling.
• Experience with industry-standard AI frameworks and algorithms.
• Hands-on experience with LSTM, GRU, XGBoost, LightGBM.
• Strong Python programming and good C++ programming skills; experience in algorithm design and optimization.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, train, and optimize ML/DL models for edge computing environments.
• Implement and deploy AI solutions on low-resource platforms with focus on performance and power efficiency.
• Develop and maintain end-to-end ML pipelines including data preprocessing, feature engineering, model training, validation, and deployment.
• Perform model tuning, quantization, pruning, and verification for production deployment.
• Apply transfer learning techniques to improve model accuracy and reduce training efforts.
• Evaluate and benchmark AI models for latency, memory usage, and computational efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI algorithms into embedded and edge systems.
