Job summary

Flutter Entertainment India is seeking an AI Engineer – Finance Technology in Hyderabad to shape the future of AI across Flutter's Finance function. You will build AI-powered solutions, enable automation, and collaborate with Finance, Data and Engineering teams to deliver scalable AI capabilities that improve developer productivity and business outcomes.

The role focuses on AI engineering, automation, and governance within a finance context, with emphasis on secure, scalable AI development

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years' experience in AI Engineering, Software Engineering, Data Engineering or a related field.
• Hands-on experience building AI/ML solutions on Databricks, with strong programming skills in Python and SQL.
• Experience developing LLM-powered applications, including prompt engineering, RAG, AI agents and orchestration (LangChain/LangGraph/LlamaIndex).
• Experience with modern software engineering practices including Git, CI/CD, testing and code reviews.
• Strong problem-solving, communication and stakeholder management skills.

Overview Of The Role

We're looking for an AI Engineer – Finance Technology to help shape the future of AI across Flutter's Finance function.

As part of our Finance AI & Automation strategy, you'll build AI-powered solutions, develop intelligent automation, and enable engineering teams to adopt AI-assisted development practices across Finance platforms. Working closely with Finance, Data and Engineering teams, you'll help deliver secure, scalable and innovative AI capabilities that improve developer productivity, operational efficiency and business outcomes.

Key Accountabilities

AI Engineering and Automation

• Design and build AI-enabled solutions, developer tools and intelligent automation across Finance Technology platforms.
• Develop reusable prompts, templates and AI capabilities that accelerate software delivery and improve engineering productivity.
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies and identify practical opportunities to drive innovation across Finance.

Engineering Excellence

• Apply modern software engineering practices including Git, CI/CD, testing and code reviews to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Support engineering teams in adopting AI-assisted development across Databricks, Oracle Fusion, Oracle EPM and related platforms.
• Contribute to engineering standards, technical documentation and reusable development frameworks.

Collaboration and Governance

• Partner with Finance, Data Engineering and Architecture teams to deliver scalable AI solutions aligned with business needs.
• Ensure AI solutions meet enterprise security, governance and audit requirements.
• Share knowledge and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and innovation.

What You Will Need

Essential Requirements

• 3 to 5 years' experience in AI Engineering, Software Engineering, Data Engineering or a related field.
• Hands-on experience building AI/ML solutions on Databricks , with strong programming skills in Python and SQL .
• Experience developing LLM-powered applications , including prompt engineering, RAG, AI agents and orchestration frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex or similar.
• Experience with modern software engineering practices including Git, CI/CD, testing and code reviews.
• Strong problem-solving, communication and stakeholder management skills.

Desirable Skills

• Experience with Oracle Fusion, Oracle EPM or other enterprise Finance platforms.
• Familiarity with vector databases, MCP, AI evaluation frameworks, function calling and agentic workflows.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure and automation tools such as Alteryx or Retool.
